SAY GOODBYE TO SIGMA, and SAY HELLO TO... NIKON!!
There comes a times in everyone’s professional career to make a shift towards bigger and great things. That time has come for us at Antonio Martez Photography. We have celebrated several years as being huge proponent of Sigma Lenses, as our choice of glass for my Nikon cameras over the years. From the Sigma 24-70, 70-200, 85 1.4, 50 1.4, and 150mm Macro, these lenses served as the workhorses of my photography business for the last 7 years. When Sigma released the new Art Series lenses, I too was just like every other photographer on a budget, in love with this series cause it offered competitive glass to the Nikon’s Nikkor lenses. As featured in The Photo Brigade’s “In My Bag” on June 2017, I showcased what I carried around in my Think Thank Airport Takeoff Roller.
FAST FORWARD to DECEMBER 2018 with NIKON USA
I have officially made the switch to Nikon’s Nikkor lenses as the flagship lenses for my fashion & beauty photography business. I made the switch after consciously realizing that if I wanted to compete in the league with some of the Top Fashion & Beauty Photographers such as my mentor, Matthew Jordan Smith, or Lindsay Adler of the world, I needed better and more reliable glass.
Thanks to my partners at Nikon USA, I was able to overhaul my Think Tank Airport Security Roller (upgraded to a bigger camera bag as well) to the best Nikon had to offer. So by now, I know you are wondering, what’s in my camera bag for 2018. Well, wonder no more, here is what I have upgraded to for 2018.
