Fashion & Beauty Master Classes & Workshops

Antonio Martez, highly sought after and award winning fashion & beauty photographer bring his industry knowledge to the classroom setting to talk about Capture, WorkFlow, and Post Production. Antonio will provide photographers the opportunity to be hands-on with agency models from some of the industry's leading agencies, professional lighting by Profoto, and paired with fully emerged workshop to build their professional portfolio.  Antonio understands, that as a creative you need to be submerged in your element, so all workshops are held in studio.  

Each Workshop is 4-6 hours, what the industry calls a 1/2 Day! 

• Studio: Savage Universal Seamless Paper or Cyc Wall Production Space.

• Gear: Profoto Lighting & Modifers, Mola Softlight Beauty Dishes will be provided.

• MakeUp: Professional MakeUp will be provided by actual industry working professionals.

• Wardrobe: High fashion and Ready to Wear looks are provided from Domestic and International Showrooms for you to select the fashion for your shoots.

• Models: Agency Models will be provided for each session.

• Mentorship: Antonio Martez will be available during the session for ONE-On-ONE mentering. You will have access to him for all questions and concerns. Q&A sessions will be set for each phase of the workshop.

• BTS Video: Each session also includes a Behind the Scenes video for your social media and website.

Learn the Art of Beauty Photography 

There is truly an art to beauty photography and it all starts with your lighting style and your secret lighting recipe.  Learn from one of the best in the industry in a one day beauty workshop at City Studio - St. Louis.  This workshop will help you understand art direction, the importance storyboarding / mood boarding, and the complete creative process from start to finish. You will learn about equipment choices, type of light selection, camera lens selection, and posing techniques that will make you a better beauty photographer.  This workshop is designed for the newbie, weekend warrior, and the working profession through hands on skill development by working with a Make-Up Artist & Model during the workshop.  You will leave the workshop with your very own RAW files you capture during the workshop that you can take home, retouch, and use in your portfolio or website.  You will learn about the theory behind beauty photography and the practical uses of it in the beauty & photography industry.  Lunch, Drinks, & Snacks will be provided.  We will rap the day session up with a Q&A session to address any of your concerns and questions.
